Liberal Nonsense: Hillary Clinton (2)

“I wish the Republicans would apologize for the disaster of the Bush-Cheney years and not run anybody, just say that it's time for the Democrats to go back into the White House.”
-Hillary Clinton, at a recent Democratic debate

Book Review: Let Freedom Ring by Sean Hannity

What a great book! Sean Hannity is a little further to the right than I am, but I still loved what he had to say about America. He also exposes Bill Clinton for the incompetent president that he was. Hannity is a passionate debater, and it is evident in his strong viewpoints and the amount of research he does to back them up. Although it 4 years old, it is still very relevant, and a must read for all conservatives. You can click on the book cover or click hereto purchase the book for yourself or as a gift.

Heard on the Campaign Trail: John McCain (3)

During the Great Depression, with many millions of Americans out of work and the country suffering the worst economic crisis in our history, there rose from small towns, rural communities, inner cities, a generation of Americans who fought to save the world from despotism and mass murder, and came home to build the wealthiest, strongest and most generous nation on earth. They suffered the worst during the Depression, but it did not shake their faith in, and fidelity to, America. They did not turn to their religious faith and cultural traditions out of resentment and a feeling of powerlessness to affect the course of government or pursue prosperity. On the contrary, their faith had given generations of their families' purpose and meaning, as it does today.”
-John McCain, responding to Barack Obama's comment on so-called "bitter" Americans

Book Review: Turnaround by Mitt Romney

Mitt Romney was my choice for president. I voted for him in February and I was crushed when he dropped out. However, I can't say this book was a real winner for me. It's not about politics, if that is what you're hoping for. It is basically a blow by blow of every waking second of Mitt's life as CEO of the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Don't get me wrong, parts were interesting, but if you are not obsessed with the Olympics this might be a dry read.
